About me

I'm Tristan, a graphic designer and illustrator based in Austin, Texas. I hold a Bachelor's in Graphic and Digital Design from Drury University, along with certificates in Professional and Visual Communication and Graphic Storytelling. Though my professional career is just getting started, my relationship with design goes back much further — I've been working with design tools since high school, driven by a curiosity that formal education helped sharpen. My background is a mix of formal training and self-driven exploration, which means I bring both structure and a willingness to experiment to every project. I work across branding, illustration, and visual identity, and I'm always open to what's next.

When I'm not designing, you'll find me on Lady Bird Lake guiding kayak and paddleboard tours, or on the pool deck coaching swimmers. I spend a lot of time outdoors, which keeps me curious, grounded, and always looking at the world from a different angle — something that tends to find its way into my work.
